Dark Spots On White Carpet

With some small adjustments this getcleaningdone post definitely works. I don t recall this spot encountering any particular moisture so i m not sure what could be causing the spots. Vacuum before the pieces soften and blot the carpet with a white towel. I have some dark grayish spots appearing on the tan carpet in my living room see pic.

Next blot the area dry with a clean dry cloth or paper towel. Next spray or blot with a solution of one part white vinegar to one part water. Sponge with cold water and blot dry. The affected area is about 10 x6 or so in size.
